		<description>Great question! All the most recent research agrees that less sugar is better when it comes to health. Sugar in all of it&#039;s forms is quite a sticky subject and will be a topic of an upcoming Better Bites. The bottom line with all sweets is moderation. Agave syrup has been under some scrutiny lately. Depending on the producer, agave can have much more in common with high fructose corn syrup than other sugars. That said, if you enjoy the flavor of agave or prefer a non-animal-made alternative to honey, agave in moderation isn&#039;t likely much worse for you than other sugars. It just may not be a better choice than plain old white, refined sugar. My personal favorite less-processed sweeteners are maple syrup, molasses, sucanat and honey. That said, these are still forms of sugar and are best used in moderation.</description>
